Swimming Crash Courses

We run Crash Courses for children during many of the school holidays. Each course is run over 5 consecutive days, with a 1/2 hour session at the same time each day.

A Crash Course can provide an ideal chance for children already having swimming lessons to build on skills they are currently learning. They are also equally as effective as an introduction to swimming lessons, or on a "one-off" basis to brush up on skills previously learned.

Our Crash Courses are open to children who are already attending Swim Scheme courses and to those who are not.

Diving Skills
Suitable for children who are in Stage 5, 6 or 7. It will provide basic diving skills, underwater confidence, body awareness and work towards crouch and plunge dives.

Mini-Polo
Suitable for children who are in Stage 8, 9, Rookie, Lifesaving 1 or 2. The sessions will focus on the basic skills and techniques required for water-polo. Each session will include a game of mini-polo.
